Paste recipe text or upload a file
Save a recipe by pasting text, or by uploading a PDF, image, or text file. MyMealVault extracts the title, ingredients, and steps.
If you already have the recipe in front of you, you do not need a link. Paste the text, or upload a file, and MyMealVault will extract the title, ingredients, and instructions.
Paste recipe text
Use this when you can copy the recipe from a website, email, or document. Paste Recipe Text lives under Create your own on the Add recipe screen.
Open Add recipe
From any tab, tap the + button, then choose Paste Recipe Text under Create your own.Paste the recipe
Paste the full recipe into the text box. Formatting does not need to be perfect.Save Recipe
Tap Save Recipe. MyMealVault reads the text, then opens Enhancing your recipe while it organizes ingredients, steps, and a photo.
Upload a PDF, image, or text file
Use Upload a recipe when the recipe is in a file. This sits under Import on the Add recipe screen.
Open Add recipe
From any tab, tap the + button, then choose Upload a recipe under Import.Choose a file
Tap Upload File and pick a recipe file from your device.Save Recipe
Tap Save Recipe. MyMealVault analyzes the file, then opens Enhancing your recipe.
