Import a recipe from a cookbook or handwritten photo
Photograph a cookbook page, handwritten card, or recipe screen and MyMealVault will read and import it.
You can save a recipe from a printed cookbook page, a handwritten card, or a recipe on another screen. MyMealVault reads the photo and imports the recipe into your vault.
Open Add recipe
From any tab, tap the + button, then choose Import from a photo under Import.Choose A recipe card or page
Select A recipe card or page (Import directly). Do not choose A dish or food. That option searches for similar recipes online instead of reading the page.Take photo or Upload
Tap Take photo to use the camera, or Upload to pick a photo from your library. Frame the full recipe, including ingredients and steps.Wait for import
MyMealVault shows Reading your recipe, then Enhancing your recipe while it organizes the details.
